Mike with a whale out in front of him
Well the first day walking was a bit of a killer for me. I hadn't slept the night before as I was scared that I couldn't make it - about 7-8 months of not doing anything has played with the weight a bit I can tell you all....
The views were stunning and we reached an altitude of 611 meters as the highest point. We had Cape Vultures, Orange Breasted Sunbirds and Cape Sugarbirds as well as a Cape Cobra the first day (great back paddling Mike after spotting the snake).
