Well we went out to Worcester on Monday and started packing our things into the trailer and vehicle. The visas for Angola only last for 2 months so we will have to try and arrange them in Johannesburg instead. We spent the night on Monday at Worcester and finished packing up the trailer.

Today Bushwakka are taking our vehicle to a testing station and this will then validate our insurance for it. We have to get some food shopping and a few other bits and pieces then we will head out to Worcester again.

Last night we were invited to one of the 'Seapoint Dinners' at Chris and Trevors place. Lizzie, Leanne & James were also there so lovely to catch up with them all. A huge thank you to Chris & Trevor for such a lovely night.

Thursday we are going to a camp site near Worcester to have a test run with the whole kit - trailer and vehicle. Jeremy from Bushwakka and his wife and kids will also stay in their trailer that night so that they can show us how things work and how to put it all up and down - so should be a fun time! I suspect that it will be entertainment for the rest of the campers!!

We are also hoping to stay Friday and Saturday night in a campsite around Worcester so that any of our friends from Cape Town can come and visit and see the complete outfit and spend a night with us if the like or go home in the evening.

I think the plan is to try and start the 'big adventure' either Monday or Tuesday. I only hope that I can get access on the computer so that we can keep in touch with you all.

Well as always love and hugs to you all xxx

Hi Guys

Hope all is well. Seems like all is going according to plan overthere. Anyway nothing you cant sort out Dee. hahaha. Anyway just to let you know all is well on this side. The mud island is still going okay. Still quite cool weather, but apart from some rain over the weekend and some strong wind, nothing much else to report. I was on a course today, working early tomorrow and then fininshing the course on Fridsy.

Anyway not long to go until Cape Town, so looking forward to sunning it up on the beach again and catch up with family whilst there.

Well folks happy days to you and I will keep you up to date with any news from this end.

Keep well

Love Pauw and Sarah

Dee & Martin
You certainly sound as if you are very busy catching up with friends and getting everthing ship shape for the 'big adventure'. We went to Max Short's funeral yesterday, the Puke Town Hall was packed. Emily is here today for her holiday with Gma and Pop. We are going down town soon to the $2 shop, then having afternoon tea with Nana. She goes back to pre-school tomorrow and they all head off on their holiday to Opito Bay on Saturday. Kym and Brent really want us to spend some time down there with them so we are going next Thurs until Sat. Keep on enjoying yourselves, hope all goes well and you get away on Mon or Tues. Lots of love, hugs and kisses Mum and Col xx

What a time you are having! It is hot and sunny down here on the beach too (in our dreams)! I love your narratives Dee and what a kit - you will b able to cook all sorts with that cooked breakfast 3 course dinner - hope you have all the silver service. (I tried cooking 2 nights ago as a treat for when Melanie returned from Scotland - first time in 6 years - and she said I don't like stew and it looks horrible - it was pheasant stew and tasted yumscrum!)

Sounds like you are having a fantastic time and good luck with the visas and vehicle test and enjoy the start of the adventure.

What is braai?

Lots and lots of love from all of us and take good care. Charlie sais can you catch a whale.. just a killer whale that is so not too difficult on safari..
